Mars moves into Capricorn tomorrow for a six-week stay. While many of the planets I mentioned in this 2018 post are in different places now, similar Karmic influences will still be felt as Mars conjoins Pluto in March. Repeating themes will include “unforgiving practicality” and “tension between those who have behaved selfishly and recklessly, and those who have the power to penalize them.” In the words of RuPaul, “I can’t wait to see how this turns out.”

Mars is in its exaltation in Capricorn. The combative, reckless nature of the warrior planet is moderated. In Capricorn, Mars chooses his battles thoughtfully and carefully.
Enthusiasm for idealism is replaced with a sort of unforgiving practicality when Mars moves from Sagittarius into Capricorn. Two of the most unforgiving planets, Saturn and Pluto, are already in Capricorn. Mars will form conjunctions to the two on April 2 and April 26 respectively.
Expect this period to be remarkably unsentimental. People will be going about their business in a way that may seem rather ruthless at times. With a few planets simultaneously transiting fiery Aries, there is likely to be tension between those who have behaved selfishly and recklessly, and those who have the power to penalize them. Remember that Jupiter is in Karmic Scorpio at the moment…
