Star Struck Style

Yesterday was my birthday. I had reblogged a post and planned to write another about my year-ahead forecast on “Café Astrology,” but WordPress was malfunctioning and not allowing me to edit my posts. I gave up eventually because I had to get off the computer and go to my massage appointment (which, by the way, was a perfect way to spend my special day).

This morning, I was able to retrieve yesterday’s reblogged post, and everything else appears to be working well. So, I’ll revisit the aforementioned predictions offered by my favorite meat-and-potatoes astrology site.

The section begins with a passage that describes someone born on January 6:

It’s also interesting to me that I came across this section on the site at a time when every second post on this blog has to do with my desire to find a new job.

My forecast for the year ahead also touches upon some topics that have been especially relevant to me recently:

I’m pretty happy that this forecast meshes so well with some of the resolutions I’ve made for myself already on this blog. Now, if I could only find the time to sit at this computer to write without distractions, I could also feed my need to create something of value: the one thing that has been missing in my life since the pandemic began. Living in a place that has virtually become someone else’s home office has been difficult on me. Perhaps that will change in 2022, as well. I’ll thank my lucky stars if it does!

Anyway, I’m encouraged by this prediction. Hopefully the new leaf I turn over won’t be covered with spider mites or mealy bugs. 2021 was better for me than 2020, and I would be thrilled to see that upward trend continue. As a wise man once said, “It’s about fucking time!”
