Season 14 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” premieres this week and I couldn’t be more excited about it!

Last year, I published a post where I discussed the zodiac signs of all the queens who were competing for the crown. I chose Symone as my favorite, not only because I enjoyed watching her promo clips, but also because it was time that one of my Capricorn sisters took the crown.

I suppose that means that I should be rooting for another one of the signs that hasn’t won. That’s not going to happen, though, because there are no Aries, Libra or Scorpio natives cast on the show this season.

All three of those signs have won some version of “Drag Race.” Thailand has had a Capricorn and a Libra winner. The UK has had an Aries and two Libra winners. Australia had an Aries winner. Spain recently crowned the first-ever Scorpio winner.

However, on the American version of the show, Aries, Libra and Scorpio continue to perform poorly. At least a couple of Aries natives have made it a close race a few times, and the Libra queens are killing it when it comes to Miss Congeniality, but the Scorpio natives have a track record that is quite embarrassing. Only Sherry Pie and Kandy Muse have got anywhere near the crown.

Anyway, here is a rundown of the zodiac signs for the fourteen contestants competing on Season 14. I use “Fandom” as a resource, and it’s usually quite accurate. As of yesterday, however, the site still doesn’t have a birthday for June Jambalaya, and without a time of birth, I cannot ascertain Daya Betty’s sun sign. Alyssa Hunter shares the same birthday as Daya Betty, but I was able to calculate that she is definitely is a Pisces. Also, a citation is still needed for Orion Story’s date of birth on her “Fandom” fan page.

Aries: None.

Taurus: DeJa Skye

Gemini: Bosco; Jasmine Kennedie; June Jambalaya (more likely)

Cancer: June Jambalaya (less likely); Orion Story (not yet confirmed)

Leo: Angeria Paris VanMichaels; Kerri Colby; Lady Camden

Virgo: Maddy Morphosis

Libra: None

Scorpio: None

Sagittarius: Jorgeous

Capricorn: Kornbread Jeté

Aquarius: Daya Betty (less likely); Willow Pill

Pisces: Alyssa Hunter; Daya Betty (more likely)

it wouldn’t be much of a stretch for me to pick a Leo to join Yvie Oddly in the winner’s circle because there are three Leo queens competing this season. But Lady Camden really did it for me in the promos, so I’m going to pick her for the win. Like I said last year when I chose Symone as my favorite, “I’m rooting for the smart one.”
