I’ve been having a lot of fun lately with the search tool on astrotheme.com, comparing my natal chart to the charts of various celebrities. My latest search, inspired by yesterday’s post about Lauren Bacall, was to determine who else shared my sun in the third house/Mercury in the the third house combination. While I’ve read plenty about sun/Mercury combos through the signs, I’ve never come across a compilation of the thirty-six sun/Mercury house types, and that’s something that would be interesting to read. Come to think of it, there could be a few more than thirty-six types when Placidus houses come into play. Hmm . . .

But I digress! This is the sort of thing that makes me believe in Placidus houses in the first place. If I used the Whole Sign House system, I’d have a fourth-house sun, and anyone who knows…
