I have Libra as my rising sign, so I believe that I understand why the only three contestants who have given up entirely on “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” have all been Libras. Adore Delano walked away from Season 2 after a bad critique. Chi Chi DeVayne made it clear that she didn’t want to return to the competition when offered the chance during Season 3. And on the same episode, Ben DeLaCreme made “Drag Race” herstory when she eliminated herself from the competition.
The latter instance was the most Libra-like moment I have ever seen on any season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” The Libran impulse to avoid confrontation can be overwhelming. At the same time, there can be a lack of competitive spirit because most Libra natives don’t need to win just for the sake of winning. Once Ben proved to herself that she was worthy of appearing on “All Stars,” she showed herself the door.
It all made sense to me . . .
