March 22 is Reese Witherspoon’s birthday.

I don’t know that much about Reese Witherspoon. However, I did watch the first season of “Big Little Lies” and I was startled by how Aries-like her character seemed. She was bossy, impulsive, mouthy — the list goes on.

For that reason, I decided to have a quick look at where the planets were when she was born. It’s quite amazing! Like Dolly Parton’s horoscope, Reese Witherspoon’s natal chart lends credence to the adage “the best people have the worst charts.”

Witherspoon has a remarkably tight T-square between the sun in Aries, Mars in Cancer and the moon in Capricorn. Cardinality defines her chart, with Jupiter also occupying Aries, and Saturn in Cancer in mutual reception to her Capricorn moon. Both Mercury and Venus are in Pisces.

I wouldn’t look at this layout of planets and think that it belonged to one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. Even with a Leo rising sign working hard to create a character who would theoretically live to bask in the spotlight, the Mars position just lends itself to combativeness. I really am amazed that Reese Witherspoon has been able to make it to the top without earning a terrible reputation. If you told me that this was the chart of Joan Crawford, then I would believe you.

But, as I already mentioned, I don’t know much about Reese Witherspoon. Maybe she is a monster, and maybe Hollywood will make a “Mommie Dearest” movie about her when she’s gone. All I know is that if I had a bossy Aries mother with a chart like this, I’d be in trouble. Oh wait a minute. I do have a bossy Aries mother with a chart like this . . .
