I always get in trouble when I tell Libra natives that the first word that pops into my head when I think of their zodiac sign is “lazy.” They take such great offence to the implication that they can be listless or lacking in energy. But what I really mean when I use the word “lazy” is “languorous” — I just don’t use that word because I know that most people don’t know what it means. Nevertheless, it’s a little more nuanced and it implies that a Libra individual’s innate laziness arises from a desire for pleasure. It’s a decadent, Venusian characteristic without inherent heaviness or gravitas.
