The second impeachment trial of Donald Trump is scheduled to begin in the Senate this coming Tuesday, February 9.
Astrologically, it’s a terrific day to start “healing” the nation because early that morning Saturn forms a rare sextile with Chiron: the first of three such aspects that will occur in 2021. The second occurs when Saturn is retrograde on June 24, and the final pass occurs on November 26.
The interesting thing about this configuration is that no one needs to perform any mental gymnastics to interpret it as a detached, business-like approach (Saturn in Aquarius) to mending the war wounds (Chiron in Aries) caused by the insurrection.
For that reason, I believe that the trial will be a success, even if the Senate doesn’t vote to impeach Trump. Astrologically, the planets are in favor of the truth coming out. Many people are going to realize that they’ve been duped and that Donald Trump doesn’t care if they’re going to jail in his name.
It will be interesting to me to see how the retrograde reoccurrence of this sextile in June manifests itself, and whether or not the final reoccurrence will result in some sort of “closure.” I hope it does. Wouldn’t it be great to live in a world where Donald Trump holds no power over anyone? I know that’s not going to happen, but every day that he loses just a single follower is a day to celebrate. Nothing would make me happier to know that my birthday, January 6, signified the beginning of the end for this vile man and the people who worship him.

I did write something to ask a question of other astrologers, but I haven’t gotten that deep into his chart because I’ve never been able to confirm his time of birth. I believe that there are a few charts around that have an 8:30 birth time listed, but it’s a red flag when you see the time rounded down to the half hour.
