September 13 is Stella McCartney’s birthday.
I’m especially kind to Stella McCartney in “Star Struck Style.” I tell a story in the Virgo chapter where I essentially apologize to the designer for ever doubting that she was a force to be reckoned with in the fashion business. Click the link above to buy yourself a copy and read all about it!
Anyway, Stella has a unique horoscope. Like Karl Lagerfeld and Kim Jones (whom I discussed a few posts back), she has both the sun and Mercury in Virgo. Unlike those two, she also has Venus in the same sign, along with Pluto in the very last degree.
However, the most interesting thing about her chart is a conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune just a few minutes into Sagittarius. If she had been born a day or two earlier, Jupiter would have still been in a tight conjunction with Neptune (within a degree), but in a different sign altogether. For that reason, its significance is highlighted, especially because it is in a sign over which it rules. Even without a time of birth to put the planets in the houses, this aspect sticks out like a sore thumb.
With her Cancer moon, McCartney could be a stick in the mud. Instead, she’s kind of a hippie for a new generation — sort of like me. My own chart could read as “conservative,” but I’m actually a lifelong vegetarian, a fashion lover, a workout addict, and someone who is constantly challenging himself to live up to higher ideals. This is probably due to the mutual reception aspect between Mercury and Jupiter in my horoscope that also places each of those planets in houses over which they rule. In addition, I have major Virgo influences in my chart right around the same degree where McCartney’s sun is situated. What’s more, her natal Mars in Aquarius is just over a degree away from mine.
The similarities are quite astounding! I should look up the “Vogue” article that accompanies the photo I posted above to find out what else we have in common. I know that she is detail-oriented and a bit of a perfectionist, so I probably won’t have to look too far to find any more similarities between the two of us.
I should also try to find a time of birth for the designer. Her parents were huge public figures, so I’m surprised that there isn’t a time listed on her chart on astrotheme.com. Maybe there’s a news article that mentions it somewhere. Perhaps we share a rising sign, too.
Anyway, stay tuned for more thrilling updates about me and the celebrities who resemble me . . .
