Writer’s Digest (source: Writer’s Digest)

I haven’t been inspired to write much lately. However, I did start my last book right around this time of year. There’s something about the spring equinox that makes me want to jump headfirst into new projects. The universe is telling me to make a fresh start!

Over the course of the next couple of days, I’m going to find out whether or not I’ll have a job. I’ll be okay if I don’t get to work from home because I’m not on the brink of financial ruin quite yet. Also, I live in Canada and the government has already promised to take care of people like me during the Coronavirus crisis.

So, knowing that I’m going to be housebound for a while (with a job to go back to once this is all over), makes me believe that this is a terrific time to revisit a hundred projects I’ve already started. I just need to pick one that makes me feel passionate enough that I want to work on it every day. As I’ve mentioned before on this blog, I am easily distracted by whatever is in front of me. I am the proverbial Jack-of-all-trades: good at almost everything because I’ve done almost everything. My problem is that I have failed to “specialize” in any particular subject because there’s always something else to learn. Damn you, third-house Mercury in Sagittarius!

Oh well! With Mars and Jupiter about to join the cavalcade of planets marching through my fourth house any day now, my home-based projects are not only favored, but also blessed by the current cosmic circumstances.

Now if I could just learn to develop some style like the magazine cover above suggests . . .
