I just realized that I hadn’t posted anything on this blog today.
I had a look at my horoscope to see if there was anything there that would make me forget this daily ritual, and I discovered that Mercury moved back into my fourth house for a brief, eight-day stay. If you scroll back through a few of my blog entries, I’m sure you’ll find some posts where I discuss how a Mercury transit through my fourth house makes me feel more insular and less eager to express myself in a public forum like this.
Oh well! It moves back into my fifth house on the day before I go to Las Vegas. That’s good news because I want to have a good time. I’m so eager to get away!
Curiously, Mercury’s retrograde trip back into my fourth house corresponds with what would be my fifth house cusp if I used the Whole House system of house division. It’s just another one of those things that makes me understand just how right the Placidus system is for me. There’s no way that I would be turning inward if Mercury was moving back into my fifth house. That goes against everything I’ve ever been taught about how the planets behave in the houses.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to get back to being temporarily introverted and forgetting what I’m supposed to be doing while I reminisce about my last thirty trips to Vegas . . .
