Star Struck Style

Yesterday I discussed my upcoming trip to Las Vegas on this blog. I’m going to be there on St. Patrick’s Day.

Venus moves into my seventh house today. It’s a good place for Venus to be, especially for a guy like me who has Libra as a rising sign. Went I went to look at how long it will be transiting my seventh house, I realized that it moves into my eighth house during my vacation. Mercury moves from my fifth house to my sixth house just hours before Venus’ ingress, and into Pisces shortly after that.

That’s kind of a big shift of momentum, and the fact that it is occurring while I’m in Las Vegas intrigues me. I already had plans to go see “RuPaul’s Drag Race Live” at the Flamingo on St. Patrick’s Day. The Flamingo holds a special place in my heart not only because of all the good times I’ve had there, but also because it’s where “Viva Las Vegas” was filmed. I get goosebumps when I realize that I’m in a place where Elvis once walked among the mere mortals.

I’m also going to be there with my Pisces friend whose childhood nickname was Tatie-Pie because she likes potatoes. Is there anything more Irish than potatoes? The moon is in Capricorn that day, too. I have a green shirt with a Capricorn symbol on it that I was planning to wear on St. Patrick’s Day. Also, Elvis was a Capricorn, and I’ve known no bigger Elvis fan than Tatie-Pie’s mother.

All these signs from the universe are telling me that this is going to be a memorable St. Patrick’s Day. I’d be a fool to take them any other way, right?

On second thought, don’t answer that . . .
