Speaking of probing, Mercury entered Scorpio today where it will remain for an unusually long time. Due to its upcoming retrograde phase, it won’t leave Scorpio until December 9.
Mercury in Scorpio is both an introspective position and an inquisitive place for the planet to be. We’re going to want to look deeper into issues that we don’t completely understand. Along with Pluto’s station in Capricorn (which also occurs today), and the upcoming transits of the sun, Venus and Mars through the sign, probing will become a theme for many of us this fall. The deeper we go, the more we will discover.
I suppose that bodes well for the American impeachment investigation that has just begun (and all the other related investigations it seems to be generating around the world). On a more personal level, however, it bodes well for anyone who wants to wants to understand how they got from Point A to Point B over the past few years. With so much planetary action occurring in both Scorpio and Capricorn, it might be beneficial to study the dynamics of fate. What part do you play in your own destiny? What part do you play in the destiny of others? Those are the question we all will all have to ask ourselves.
