My brain is a little addled after yesterday’s events. I got a new roof on my house, but instead of going out to get away from all the noise, I chose to stay home because my cats were sort of freaked out. They seemed to be calmer when I was nearby, so I hung out with them all day long.

I woke up this morning feeling somewhat refreshed, but still a little scattered. Mercury is opposing Neptune in the sky right now, so I’m probably not the only one who is confused by the current cosmic climate (just look at the nincompoop in the photo I posted above). With the sun closing in on an opposition with Neptune in three days from now, this feeling isn’t going anywhere soon.

Both of these oppositions to Neptune can lead to mental confusion and miscommunication. However, they can also open up our creative floodgates. I’m going to sit down and try to write over the next few days. With the sun and Mercury in Virgo, my first impulse might be to edit what I’ve already written, but there will be time for that another day. For now, just getting my imaginative thoughts down is going to be far more important than ensuring that I haven’t violated the rules of English grammar or offended anyone with my sloppy prose and shoddy research.

So, I’m going to try to avoid that impulse. The time to behave more like a picky Virgo will return midweek. For now, I’m going to go with the flow and allow Neptune in Pisces to take me any crazy direction that it wants to go. Resistance isn’t only futile for the next three or four days, but kind of unproductive in the scheme of things. Give in to your own madness, but just be ready to get back to the real world midweek.
