Jupiter and Thetis by Ingres (source: Wikipedia)

Just the other day, I published a post where I discussed my current employment situation. The store where I work is changing hands and I’m not sure what that means for me. I’ve been promised a job for now, but I’m feeling rather underemployed anyway. Maybe a change will do me good.

Nevertheless, I told myself that it wouldn’t be wise to dive head-first into the job search until after the sun enters my tenth house next Tuesday. Now I realize that Tuesday is also the day when retrograde Jupiter reenters my second house for about eight weeks. It won’t return to my third house until September 6. When it does move into my third house, the sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars will all be transiting Virgo where they will be making multiple conjunctions with my natal Uranus/Pluto conjunction over a two-week period. I can’t recall if my eleventh house has ever seen that much action all at once. It’s going to be something, but I’m not sure what!

Everyone born in late 1965 and early 1966 shares this Uranus/Pluto conjunction. For me, it’s personalized because Uranus lands in the eleventh house. My conjunction is also very tight, and it is also in opposition to my natal Chiron. It forms an axis in my chart that has proven to be significant during particular transits of the swift-moving planets. Things I’ve started/ended in September typically have long-lasting consequences in my life (jobs; school; etc.)

So, I’m not going to allow myself to panic because I haven’t found a new job yet. I’ve still got until the end of the month before my current job ends. After that, I’ll receive some severance/bonuses that should allow me to keep my head above the water for a while. I can even apply for Employment Insurance, although I’d rather have something to do because I get quite antsy sitting around the house.

It looks like the stars have plans for me and my financial future that are currently at odds with what I’m doing. That all starts to change on Tuesday. Until then, I’m not going to get myself worked up over nothing. Jupiter in the second house portends an increase in cash flow, or at least an expansion of my money-making capabilities. Along with the tenth house transits I’m also about to experience, I should be okay. After that, I’ll be experiencing a third house/eleventh house focus that should be good for someone like me who was born to communicate (both my natal sun and Mercury are in the third house) with the world at large (the aforementioned eleventh house transits).

I know that this is all pretty compelling stuff. Stay tuned for more updates.
