February 19 is David Gandy’s birthday.
I’ve looked up a lot of natal charts since the advent of the internet. However, I’ve never looked up a celebrity’s chart to discover what I just found when I punched David Gandy’s name into the Astrotheme database. The sun was at 0°00″ Pisces at noon on the day he was born.
I come across a lot of celebrity charts where a time of birth is not provided. If I’m not able to determine someone’s sun sign, I usually avoid discussing them. I don’t mind speculating about the position of the moon, or even disputing a rising sign when the time of birth provided is obviously an estimate, but I do insist upon knowing the sun signs of the people I profile on this blog. My whole fashion-astrologer shtick is built around the relationship between self-expression, personal style and the sun sign. But to see a chart with an exact 0°00″ sun at noon is exciting. I’ve never seen anything like it!
So, is David Gandy an Aquarius born before noon, or is he a Pisces born after noon? I have no idea because I don’t know much about the guy except that he’s probably the most-recognizable male model in the world. The only thing that makes me believe that he’s probably an Aquarius is that I thought that he was older than he is. He turns thirty-nine today. I figured that he was in his mid forties by now because his face is a little craggy. I’ve known a lot of Aquarius guys who haven’t aged that well. The Pisces guys I know seem to discover the benefits of sunscreen and moisturizer before it’s too late.
However, that’s experience talking — not astrology. Maybe there’s something to my theory, though, but that’s a post for another day . . .
