Uranus goes retrograde today. Normally, that’s no big deal because Uranus spends about five months a year in retrograde. Three months from now, however, the planet is going to back up into the final few degrees of Aries, making us all feel as we’ve been in this place before.
So, what does that mean? It coincides with the November 6, 2018 midterm elections in the USA. I don’t study that kind of astrology, but the fact that the dates align perfectly scares the hell out of me. Are we going to see a repeat of what happened in 2016? Uranus rules over sudden, unexpected events, after all.
It’s something I should look into. I know that there are a lot of people who specialize in this predictive style of astrology. The problem is that most of them are just as biased as I am when it comes to politics, and it’s difficult to get past the bias when you’re discussing how the planets can potentially affect a political race. So much of what I read strikes me as nothing more than wishful thinking.
Anyway, I’m going to put out some feelers and find out what the experts have to say about the subject. And then I’m going to listen to some Dionne Warwick songs to get my mind out of the gutter while asking myself “Why do I feel as if I’ve been here before?” . . .
