I’ve got a zillion good things happening in my horoscope today. The moon, Venus, Jupiter and Neptune are all in sync at the moment, forming pleasant aspects with each other and with planets and points in my natal chart.
As a result, I feel good physically. Working in my garden has taken up some of my time lately, but I haven’t stopped working out like I sometimes do this time of year. I seem to have struck a good balance of gym time/yoga time/gardening time lately. I don’t have to worry about my diet as much when I’m so active, and that makes me happy.
What’s going to make me even happier is when my garden starts to explode over the next few weeks. The peonies in the photo above are in bud right now, but it will be another week before they bloom. June is the rainy season in this part of the world, and today’s cool, rainy weather is definitely helping my peonies along.
This pleasant, optimistic mood I’m in made me look up the word “pleasance” just for fun. I had no idea that is actually a word! The website dictionary.com defines it as “a place laid out as a pleasure garden or promenade.” Right now, I feel as if spending the next month in my “pleasance” is the key to maintaining this sense of contentment I’m currently feeling. I don’t want to be anywhere else.
Now if I can just lose another five pounds and win the lottery before the month is over . . .
