Here’s a great photo of the original “Fame” cast. I’m going to start posing like this every time someone tries to take a photo of me.
However, that might not happen. After publishing my book in fall, I haven’t been too eager to promote it. I’m usually sort of a fame whore, and I’ll show up at an envelope opening if it means I can get in a plug for my various projects, but for a couple of months I’ve been very reluctant to get out in front of the crowd.
I haven’t grown shy — it’s nothing like that. I just haven’t felt the need to perform for anyone other than myself. I’ve looked at my chart a few times to see if there was anything that could account for this phenomenon, but I didn’t really put anything together until just a moment ago.
The planets are spread out in the sky right now. Counting Chiron, I’ve got a planet in every house from the first through the ninth at the moment. That leaves my “spring” quadrant completely empty. That’s typically the part of the birth chart where planets are packed up when an individual seeks recognition above anything else.
I haven’t ever considered quadrant orientation in transits, but maybe I should. I’m definitely feeling different right now. I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this way, either: we’re all going to have an empty chunk in our charts for a few more weeks. Wherever this void lands on your chart can make a big difference, especially if aligns perfectly with the quadrants like it does in my chart.
It’s worth a look. I’d like to know if any of my astrologer friends have noticed the effects of this empty space in the sky. Drop me a line in the comments or leave me a message on one of my social media accounts.
