May 3 is Karen Huger’s birthday.
This hasn’t been the greatest couple of weeks for Taurus “Housewives.” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” ended their reunion with a bang when Andy Cohen told the perennially gross Kim Zolciak that she got the edit she deserved on the show after a season of shit-stirring obnoxiousness. “The Real Housewives of New York City” premiered with a contrite Luann de Lesseps basically embarking upon an apology tour after a season of preparing for “wedded bliss.” And then “The Real Housewives of Potomac” had Karen Huger acting like an oblivious, entitled asshole as she attempted to distance herself from her husband’s well-publicized issues with the IRS.
A few posts back, I noted that Melania Trump provides a perfect example of what I refer to as Taurean complicity in my latest book, “Star Struck Style.” A Taurus native will turn a blind eye to everything horrible happening around them, just as long as they are able to remain comfortable in the situation. It’s the worst thing about them until you point it out them. Then their bull-in-a-china-shop reaction becomes the worst thing about them — and this comes from their greatest defender. I adore Taureans!
Anyway, the word “complicit” aptly defines the behavior of many Taurus individuals. Their incredulity when accused of benefiting from ill-gotten gains and other crimes is nothing more than an act. Yes, they can be bought. However, getting them to admit it is next to impossible.
