Mars moves into Libra this afternoon for a seven-week stay.

Mars is in its detriment in Libra. Its aggressive energy is pacified in the sign. However, the combativeness doesn’t disappear altogether. Instead, it simmers below the surface, occasionally bubbling up as passive/aggressive behavior. At its worst, it makes for a season of backhanded compliments — and there is nothing wrong with that. By the way, did I mention that you don’t look nearly as awful as you did the last time I saw you?

These outbursts should be nothing more than annoyances. With the sun moving into Scorpio late this evening, almost anything of importance will be going on behind the scenes for the next thirty days. From November 7 through to the end of the month, Venus will also be in Scorpio in mutual reception to Mars. So until the sun leaves the sign on November 22, it’s going to be a great time to get things done without a lot of self-congratulatory fanfare. A conjunction between Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio on November 13 might even add a little magic to the mix. Scorpio is a Karmic sign, and with all the planetary “good guys” in the sign at the same time, good things should happen to the good guys on this planet. Enjoy your cosmic rewards with dignity and grace.
