Thursday’s new moon in Libra at 26’35” opposes Uranus in Aries at 26’31”. That’s just a hair’s breadth away from being exact.

So, what does that mean for you? It’s going to be a good time to make peace with your own sense of apathy. While I wouldn’t normally recommend becoming more apathetic as a strategy to cope with the current cosmic circumstances, I’m going to reiterate what I mentioned in a previous post: people are digging their own holes right now, so there is no need to get your hands dirty.

At the end of the week, Mars moves into Libra just as the sun is preparing to enter Scorpio. Mercury will be in Scorpio by then, too. Those individuals who cannot resist the urge to behave in a vindictive manner will go all out with their thinly-veiled, passive/aggressive attacks. However, it’s going to be so easy for the rest of us to point out their hypocrisy. With reactive Mars poorly-placed in one of the most superficial signs of the zodiac, nincompoops are not going to consider the consequences of their juvenile behavior. The bullies are going to be exposed for what they are.

When the new moon arrives on Thursday, resolve to be a bystander in this conflict. And whatever you do, be careful of what you post on social media. Through its association with the eleventh house, Uranus is connected to our online presence. I can see this battle occurring on Twitter or Facebook, so think twice before you post anything this week — even pictures of Uranus. There’s going to be someone out there who is ready to take issue with everything you do, whether that’s your take on American politics or your shameless use of double entendres.

Watch out!
