December 14 is Giles Deacon’s birthday.
I like Giles Deacon. I’ve discussed him before on my previous blogs. He’s got an interesting chart with a bunch of planets sitting atop cusps. I would like to know his time of birth because there are a few factors in his natal chart that could change depending upon the time he was born.
I am rather interested in his decision to put the GILES label on hiatus in order to concentrate on his atelier. Although there are a few Sagittarius fashion designers who have had success with haute couture, they seem to be the exception to the rule.
Now for some reason, I believe that Peter Dundas was born the day after Giles Deacon. I’ve been poking around my old blogs to see why I have that idea in my head. I must have read it somewhere! It bugs me when these famous people don’t have their minions edit their Wikipedia pages. What’s the big deal if your fans know your birthday?
Anyway, it would be interesting to compare the two designers’ natal charts. They’ve both been through fashion’s revolving door a few times. With Saturn making its last stand in Sagittarius through 2017, I can see both Giles and Peter Dundas improving their footing in fashion despite the cosmic slowdown in their charts. Saturn is a pain in the ass, but it’s ultimately productive. It might be difficult for someone with a boisterous Sagittarius sun sign to believe that, but it’s true.
ETA: After digging through hundreds of old emails, I finally found the one where a friend of mine let me know that Peter Dundas was born on December 19, 1969, five days after Giles Deacon.
