Well, this is a deja vu moment for me. I published this post back in 2018 when I was in a very similar position to the one I am in today. Mercury enters my tenth house tomorrow, and because of its upcoming retrograde cycle, it doesn’t move into my eleventh house until September 1.
I’ve been telling everyone that I’m happy working at the two jobs that I have for now, and that I’m not going to get serious about finding something more lucrative to do with my life until autumn. The fact that I’ve been through such a similar situation (as confirmed by this blog post), lets me know that I was instinctively on the right track when I made that decision. My happiness is more important to me right now than the amount of money I’m bringing in every month. Plus, I now own a pair of Thom Browne sweatpants. I know, right?
Anyway, when I stumbled across this post, I also discovered this one that I wrote the following year when the stars lined up in a similar manner. Everything worked out in both of these instances because I trusted my gut to be patient. Mercury isn’t exactly a patient planet, but it sure does endow a Capricorn native like me with patience when it goes retrograde in their tenth house.
For that reason, I’m not going to allow myself to panic over my current state of underemployment. Good things are on the horizon for me. I’ve put my faith in the universe for a reason . . .
