I published this post in April when Saturn was forming a sextile with my natal sun. It’s just backtracked into that same position again over the past couple of days. Its influence will be prevalent for all of September, and then it will move back into a conjunction with my natal Saturn in October. Curiously, I feel as if I’m right back where I was when I wrote this post, except that my head isn’t so far up in the clouds this time.
Today’s new moon in my eleventh house might have me thinking lofty thoughts, but I am feeling as if this Virgo new moon can improve my footing rather than undermining it. It’s only about a degree-and-a-half from an exact opposition to my natal Saturn, so I can understand why I am feeling the ground under my feet. This is a transit that imparts a “heavy dose of realism” according to “Café Astrology.” I suppose that’s why I’m not feeling so flighty this time around.
Anyway, these Saturn aspects will be a theme in my life through January, so I’d better get used to them. On the bright side, I’m a Capricorn with Libra rising. I was made to feel this way, right?
I sure hope so . . .
