I had another very busy day at work yesterday. Of course, someone who hasn’t had their flu shot was sick, so I was essentially doing the job of two people. I didn’t get a dinner break, but I was able to grab something to eat. This time of year, people are constantly bringing me and my coworkers Christmas baking. Instead of a meal, I just ate a bunch of delicious desert squares and other assorted goodies.
But those aren’t the squares I was thinking about this morning when I was having a look at my horoscope. I’ve had a bunch of tough yet short-lived squares annoying me over the past few days. I guess that I should consider myself lucky that most of these transits feel as if they’re over as soon as they’ve started, but that doesn’t make them any less aggravating. What’s worse is that I’m the sort of person who will fill my face with whatever is in front of me when I’m stressed out. That isn’t the greatest coping strategy to possess while in the proximity of festive baked goods.
On the other hand, I have been feeling more energetic than I’ve felt for months. I’ve been enjoying working out lately, and I’ve been able to eat almost everything in sight without having to worry. That trend will likely continue over the next several weeks as the swift moving planets make several conjunctions with my natal planets, including my natal Mars.
With that thought in mind, I’m going to resolve to get a little leaner this winter when the new moon arrives this afternoon. That shouldn’t be too difficult for me because I’m already feeling as if I’m on the right track. I’ve started working out at home again where I have all the right resources to maintain a very high level of physical fitness, so when the planets that are currently transiting my third house move into my fourth house in January, I’ll already be in the habit of sticking close to home. The gym is too busy in the new year, anyway. I’ll get some much-deserved peace and quiet by adopting this strategy.
In the meantime, I can try to avoid the squares in the break room that have the potential to make me fat. I can’t really do anything about the squares in the sky that have the potential to make me into a stress-eater except to acknowledge that these negative alignments are typically followed by positive aspects. And the fact is that I’ve got a lot to look forward to as 2023 draws to a close.
