Star Struck Style

Transiting Venus conjoins my midheaven this coming Tuesday. I’m looking forward to the aspect because nothing makes me happier than having a harmonious work/life balance. With Venus in my tenth house for a long, long time because of its upcoming retrograde cycle, I should be able to enjoy going to work again. “Café Astrology” describes the aspect as follows:

“Cooperative and friendly relationships in a professional setting are featured now. Having lunch or socializing with a mentor or superior, or getting to know someone on a more personal basis than is usual in your work environment, can establish goodwill. You could even become infatuated with someone who embodies your vision of success. This is actually a very positive time to meet the public or to increase your popularity and public image. Demonstrate your appreciation for others and a true awareness of their concerns.”

I’m very encouraged by this forecast. My old boss has been rehired as my new boss and I couldn’t be happier about that. I’m not dreading going to work anymore, like I was just a few months ago. I’m also eager to have Venus transiting my tenth house for a while. My urge to escape has been highlighted during the planet’s transit through my ninth house. I’ve been fighting the impulse to do something rash to improve my circumstances. Thankfully, I’ve been able to remain somewhat self-disciplined, but that should be easier for me with both Venus and Mars in my tenth house for the next several weeks.

Not everyone would be delighted to have the stars line up in this part of their chart, but I’m a Capricorn; the tenth house feels like home to me. I’m at my best when I can’t tell the difference between work and play.

On that note, I’ve got to get off of this computer. Good times are just around the corner, and I’ve got a lot to do over the next couple of days . . .
