Saturn entered my fifth house yesterday and I’m already feeling impatient as I wait for a shift in my priorities.

I know that good things come to those who wait, but I’ve also got transiting Uranus trine my natal sun this week. I’m eager to make some changes to my life.

Curiously, my progressed sun is still in orb of a conjunction with my natal Saturn (also in my fifth house). My progressed Saturn is conjunct my natal Chiron, and opposing my natal Uranus/Pluto conjunction. That configuration is affecting everyone born within a few months of me.

All this Saturnine energy is helping me to play a long game without doing anything rash. Still, the Uranian influence I’m feeling can’t be denied. I need something to happen soon!

On the bright side, I bought a beautiful Bottega Veneta bag the other day. I’ve been kicking myself for not purchasing it when I was in Las Vegas a few years ago. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I found it on Gilt along with some other old stock that had been heavily discounted. The best part is that I adored that final collection when Tomas Maier was still the creative director at Bottega Veneta. Never in a million years did I believe that I would own something from it! I guess that my patience was rewarded because I’ve been thinking about it ever since the day I first picked it up.

I hope that this episode was emblematic of how the next three years will turn out. Good things come to those who wait, right? Come on, Saturn! Don’t prove me wrong . . .
