Robot (source: Live Science)

I’m glad that I don’t have to go to work today. The sun is making its annual opposition to Saturn on the same day that Mars is forming a trine to Pluto.

I can already be a bit of a robot when it comes to my job. I put efficiency first and I don’t always allow the emotional neediness of my fellow staff members to get in the way of what I have to do. This is the sort of day where my lack of concern for the emotional needs of others could come off as callous and mean-spirited.

On the other hand, I’m not anyone’s mother or father. The Mars/Pluto trine could also provide me with the opportunity to let people know that I am under no obligation to be anything else to them but their co-worker. This planetary alignment should facilitate a transformation in my relationships with the people who are looking at me as something other than another cog in the machine. This might be my chance to draw a line in the sand.

I guess I’ll find out tomorrow when I go to work! The energy of these two aspects will linger in the universe for a day or two. In the meantime, I’m just going to go about my business like I’ve been programmed to do.

How are you going to spend this unsentimental day? Don’t answer that! I really don’t care at the moment . . .
