Star Struck Style

June 3 is Franz Szony’s birthday, or at least I think it is because that’s the day that he posted about his birthday on Instagram.

Szony is an incredible artist and photographer. He’s also a Gemini. I spend a lot of time disparaging all the horrible Geminis in the world, but everyone needs to have a nemesis, right? I’m as steady as the day is long, so it only makes sense that I have an adversarial relationship with the flightiest, flakiest sign in the zodiac. Nevertheless, I’m the first person to admit that the fashion world is full of incredibly talented Gemini natives who keep the medium moving forward into the future. People like Steven Meisel and Pat McGrath make me eat my words all the time.

The funny thing is that I used to shitpost about Aries natives all the time. I suppose that I turned on the Geminis right around the time that Donald Trump became President of the United States. If I was a Gemini, sharing my sign with the biggest idiot who has ever walked the face of the earth would make me want to lie about when I was born.

Anyway, I don’t hate Geminis. However, I do like to have someone to poke fun at, sort of like the way people make fun of Nickelback or the New York Knicks. Maybe I’ll move on from Geminis sometime in the future, or maybe I won’t. Only time will tell.
