Star Struck Style

I guess that I did okay predicting that Lady Camden would win “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 14 because she’s got the momentum going into the finale after winning the final challenge. Still, I’m not sure that she’ll be able to beat fan-favorite and RuPaul-favorite Willow Pill. Either one would be a deserving winner in my opinion. Maybe it’s time for another tie? I’d be satisfied with that!

Anyway, Willow is an Aquarius, so she would join Aquaria and Shea Couleé in the Aquarian pantheon of winners. Daya Betty could be an Aquarius if she was born in the first three hours of the day. Otherwise, she’s a Pisces like former winners Bebe Zahara Benet, Alaska, Chad Michaels and Monét X Change. Bosco is a Gemini like Raja Gemini and Violet Chachki, and both Angeria and Lady Camden are Leos, like Yvie Oddly.

Whoever wins, the tradition will remain the same: no American winner of the show has ever had Aries, Libra or Scorpio as a sun sign. Even though those three signs have dominated the international versions of “Drag Race,” they’ve never been invited into the winner’s circle on any American version of the competition. I guess the message is clear to anyone who possesses one of those three signs: RuPaul hates you. That’s the only logical conclusion I can draw from the evidence I’ve gathered.

I’m kidding, of course! RuPaul himself is a Scorpio. Still, I can’t help but wonder how long it’s going to take before an American Scorpio queen takes the crown. I guess I’m comfortable in forecasting that it’s not going to be Sherry Pie in “All Stars Season 7.”
