Wolfgang Puck (source: MGM Grand)

Well, I’m back from Las Vegas.

Although my luck on the slot machines wasn’t that great, I don’t regret going at all. My Pisces friends were both very lucky. In fact, I don’t recall the two of them ever having such a lucky trip.

I did feel lucky, however, because I was able to get away after eighteen months of COVID-19. I like going to Las Vegas because I like my vacations to be luxurious, but the real luxury of the trip was to be able to sit a tables in restaurants with my friends, eating delicious food and drinking delicious cocktails. I missed that so much! I didn’t get to go to Spago like I had planned because it was booked for special events, but it was my good fortune that the Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill in my hotel actually was actually serving the fettuccini with wild mushrooms that might just be my favorite meal in the entire world.

I’ve still got a few more days off before I have to go back to work. I booked a massage this morning instead of having one at the hotel because I still have some money to spend on my benefits plan before it renews in 2022. Then I’m going to work on getting my closet reorganized for winter since it will probably arrive any day now.

Once I’m done that, I should sit down and take a good look at my chart for the upcoming year. I’ve been publishing posts about some professional opportunities that should be coming my way soon. I need to be ready to act upon those events when the time is right. Having a plan in place might be a good idea. Normally, I’m looking at astrologically auspicious days to return to Las Vegas on the day I get back home, but I already know that I would like to return on April 4, 2022. Everywhere I went on this trip, I saw the numbers 20, 22 and 44. Even my last bill at Wolfgang Puck was $44.44. It was uncanny. For that reason, I’m going to try to go back on the day I mentioned.

I can’t wait! I’ve missed feeling normal. This all seems so normal to me . . .
