Venus moved into Libra last night while I was in bed. I wish that I can say that I woke up into a world that seemed prettier than it did before, but that didn’t happen. In fact, I stumbled across this photo while I was searching for an image to illustrate this post. On the other hand, I did have pie for breakfast, so I suppose there is a feeling of Libran decadence in the air.
Things should get prettier for me in about two weeks when Venus conjoins my ascendant. I’m looking forward to having Venus in my first house because it’s going to be followed by a bunch of other planets (the swift moving planets aren’t moving in a pack this year). While it’s there, it’s also going to make some favorable alignments with Jupiter in Aquarius. September should be a terrific time of year for me.
Venus in Libra can make us all look for an easy way out, but it also makes us think about the greater good before we make decisions. The planet is just as comfortable in Taurus, but it can be a little more selfish in that sign. Venus in Libra can also see the scales of justice moving toward a more-balanced position. I believe that we can expect to hear some news that makes us feel as if justice is finally being served, especially when Venus forms a trine with Saturn in Aquarius a week from now. The greater good will be highlighted for all of us to see. Curiously, the sun will be shining on Donald Trump’s ascendant at the same time. I can’t imagine that the news we hear will not be about him.
Anyway, I should get off the computer so that I can prepare for what’s to come. Either the stars are telling me that the Manchurian Pumpkin is finally going to get what’s coming to him, or that it’s time for me to book an appointment to get a neck tattoo. Whatever it is, I need to get ready. I’m going to start by having another piece of pie . . .
