The sun conjoined my descendant around midnight last night and the last several hours have been interesting for me!
First, the province where I live reintroduced restrictions that were in place earlier in the year before I went back to work. This time, the gym where I work isn’t closing, but it will be operating in a very limited manner. It’s a step backwards. I’ve still got a job, but who knows what will happen over the next couple of weeks.
Then I discovered that the province has opened up the vaccination program to include my year of birth, so I can actually get the AstraZeneca vaccine. What’s more, it’s available at the pharmacy in the grocery store where I usually shop. I’m going to get on the phone and book an appointment today!
It’s kind of funny to see my life being impacted by new restrictions on what I can do, and the freedom that will result from being vaccinated against COVID-19. There is a definite tug of war going on in my universe on a day when the sun is sitting on the opposite side of my chart from my ascending degree.
Sunday’s new moon in my seventh house forms a square about a degree away from my MC/IC axis, so I probably shouldn’t get used to whatever is happening. That axis in my chart was under constant assault throughout 2020, and it also was the spot where Jupiter and Pluto lined up as they made their final conjunction in Capricorn last November. The new moon is within minutes of forming an exact square to that besieged point.
But if there is one thing that I have learned over the last year or so, it is that I can be far more adaptable than I ever thought I could be. The universe has provided me with a figurative shot in the arm since this COVID thing began, inoculating me against my dependence upon routine and bringing out my innate cardinal nature. It would be a fitting end to all of this bullshit to get an actual shot in the arm that would allow me to move forward again.
Soon . . .
