Star Struck Style

Just a few days ago, I published a post about my waxing and waning relationship with fashion. Today, I woke up and felt inspired by visiting vogue.com rather than exhausted by watching too many fashion shows online. I mean look at those Missoni dresses!

So, what’s changed? Well, transiting Venus entered my fifth house yesterday. Also, Mercury has begun to pick up speed now that its retrograde cycle is over and it is finally out of orb from its conjunction to my natal Mars. Over the next week, it’s going to conjoin my natal Venus. Suddenly, I feel a little more “out there,” like I want to put on some nice clothes and leave my house.

I’ve got a good three-and-a-half weeks of this more extroverted phase ahead of me, and I hope that I can take advantage of it. Last year, a combination of bad circumstances made late February and most of March terrible for me. This year, it looks as if the stars are on my side.

Once Mercury picks up speed, it’s going to be playing catch up to the sun and Venus for several weeks. All three planets are going be traveling in a pack through my seventh house in April. I’m looking forward to those transits, as well, because I could use a boost to my social life considering I’ve been mostly stuck at home for the past twelve months.

All this is so encouraging! Between the changing cosmic circumstances and the fact that I found out that I’m old enough to qualify for the next round of vaccinations in my province, I’m really starting to believe that my luck is changing. After a year of soul-crushing boredom combined with some really shitty planetary placements, all I can say is that it is about fucking time!
