Transiting Venus opposes my natal Saturn tomorrow. My horoscope on astro.com for this aspect reads “You may feel like a gray presence among colorful people.” What’s weird is that I woke up this morning with the intention of going back to a store where I tried on some gray pants just a couple of days ago. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about them since I first looked at them.

I like gray. I look good in gray. More than that, however, I like gray as a concept. I like moderate politics. I like people who recognize that they are a little of “this” and a little of “that.” I’m not a very black-and-white person in practice, and I’ve spent my life refusing to be defined by labels. That’s why I often have three or four jobs at any given moment.
