I had my eye on this “Black Panther” Citizen Eco-Drive watch. I’m not the kind of guy who buys anything inspired by comic book characters, but I just liked the look of it. Anyway, I bought a different one because this one never went on sale.
I wore my new watch to work yesterday. While I started working from home again on Monday after almost seven months off, I actually went into the facility to do a bunch of preliminarily administrative work to prepare for when we reopen on October 19.
It was nice to have something to do. Organizationally, it was a bit of a shitshow, but isn’t everything lately?
Hopefully, that’s going to come to an end soon. With Pluto returning to direct motion this week, we’re in the midst of a cosmic reset. Aside from Mars making a square to Pluto tomorrow (and repeating that configuration once it returns to direct motion), we’re sort of finished with all the bullshit that has made 2020 such a terrible year from an astrological perspective.
I could feel it yesterday. I kept looking at my watch because I knew that I had things I needed to accomplish. I wanted to use my time wisely. While I often complain that I get stuck in a routine, I also thrive in a routine when I have to figure out how to strike a balance between work and play. It brings out the best in me.
So, I’ll be going back to work today, and I’ll probably spend most of the afternoon staring at my watch — not because I’m bored with the routine, but because I’m a Capricorn and that’s what we do.
