Star Struck Style

I’m only a couple of days into my self-isolation/quarantine, and I’m already quite content with the sudden change to my lifestyle.

Astrologically, I got quite lucky with the way that the planets lined up while all of this was happening. As I mentioned a couple of days ago, having Jupiter conjoining my IC and then slipping into my fourth house is a cosmic blessing. Focusing on my domestic life and my daily routine is favored — especially now that the sun has entered my sixth house.

“Cafe Astrology” describes the year-long transit of Jupiter through the fourth house as follows:

“You are likely to see benefits to home, family, property, and domestic comfort matters during this cycle. Much joy and enjoyment can be found in your family and your home life now. An increased sense of security and safety may be derived from your domestic situation. Improvements to your home life, family, and basic psychological foundation are in focus. A strong sense of stability, inner contentment, and balance arrives now. Opportunities to buy or sell real estate for financial gain may present themselves. Home improvements, such as real estate or renovation purchases, are favored, as is moving to a new dwelling. Some of you may buy or sell a house, and others may welcome a new addition to the family. I do feel safe and secure right now because I’ve got a roof over my head and an income guaranteed by the Canadian government while I’m stuck inside. However, I’m wondering if my “stronger sense of psychological well-being” comes from this Jupiter transit or yesterday’s conjunction of the sun and Chiron in my sixth house. That’s another aspect that came along in the right place at the right time.

Whatever the case, I feel good, despite everything that is going on in the world right now. I’m even inspired to make some big changes to my home. Of the two things that I really, really can’t stand in my house — the upstairs carpet and the tile around my fireplace — the latter is quite an easy fix. And when I noticed the photo I posted above on the “Architectural Digest” website, I immediately knew what I had to do. Those walls are almost the same color as mine. Bronze or copper tiles would look great in my house!

I’m not trying to be that New Age flake who tries to put a positive spin on everything, but I really do feel fortunate that the planets have lined up the way that they did. Suddenly, the universe is whispering to me in a language I can truly understand.
