March 14 is Nicky Doll’s birthday.
I usually don’t spend a lot of time discussing the queens of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” while they are appearing on a current season of the show. The reason for that is that I don’t like to compose a long-winded post about why they do or do not exhibit the qualities of their zodiac sign only to learn that I was using the wrong birthday all along.
Just a moment ago I was on the notoriously inaccurate website “Famous Birthdays” where I learned that it is Nicky Doll’s birthday. I then looked up the queen on “Fandom” to see if I could confirm that birth date. It matched up. But I typically take a third and fourth step. I’ll Google the queen’s name along with the word “birthday” to see if any other days pop up in the search results, and I’ll get onto social media to see if they are posting about their own birthdays on their personal accounts.
If I didn’t go to all that work, for instance, I wouldn’t know that “Fandom” has a date of birth listed for Monét X Change that conflicts with information that she herself has posted on social media. I still have no idea what her zodiac sign is!
Sometimes I just contact the queens to ask them when they were born. That’s how I know that Miz Cracker is a “horrible Aries.” She told me herself!
Most often, however, I do the research before I start sticking my foot in my mouth on this blog. For that reason, I’m not going to believe that it’s Nicky Doll’s birthday until it’s confirmed by her own social media posts, or the posts of “World of Wonder,” the production company behind “Drag Race.” And then maybe next year I’ll be able to look deep into her chart with the confidence that I know more about her than she knows about herself.
