I’m feeling quite content today. My house is clean. My cats are fed. My bills are paid. I’m healthy, happy and looking good. What else can I ask for?
Well, just yesterday I saw a bunch of evangelical leaders praying with Donald Trump in the Whitehouse. I suppose that I can ask the universe to give them all exactly what they deserve: a one-way ticket to the afterlife they desire. My own little world would be a much better place if I never had to encounter another so-called “Christian.”
I am doing better at avoiding social media and getting worked up over what might happen if these assholes are given any more power. I believe that the Saturn/Neptune conjunction in Aries has provided me with some much-needed perspective. It’s not prudent to allow paranoia to become the guiding force in my day-to-day life. These idiots have been around since the day I was born, and they haven’t ruined my life yet.
So, I’m going to continue to enjoy the world around me now that I’ve abandoned both corporate media and the worst of social media. With springtime just around the corner, avoiding my electronic devices is going to get easier every day. Finding contentment in the life I lead should be no problem.
With transiting Jupiter stationing opposite my natal sun, this is exactly where I should be. I need to keep repeating the line from my astro.com horoscope for this once-every-twelve-year alignment: “Ultimately, nothing satisfies like satisfaction.” The more I try to discover contentment in the life I’m currently leading, the less likely I am to feel dissatisfaction with the world around me.
And that is what I’m going to continue to do . . .
