Natal Charts (source: pexels.com)

One thing about having my natal sun and Mercury in the third house is that my focus is always changing. I’ve been a Jack-of-all-trades for my entire life, and it’s likely that I’ll remain that way for the rest of my life.

Anyway, I’ve found myself looking at the natal charts of celebrities a lot over the past couple of weeks. The current cosmic climate — a stellium in my third house — has me feeling both intellectually curious and eager to communicate my findings with others. I’m hoping that doesn’t change when all these planets start to move into my fourth house. I need to be less introspective and more sociable. Fourth house transits can make me clam up.

In the meantime, however, I’m going to take the time to review some of the source materials that have made me the astrologer I am today. Its winter where I live and the weather is terrible. While I’m stuck inside with some extra time on my hands, I’m going to pull out some of those old classics and reacquaint myself with the books that taught me how to draw up and interpret a horoscope.

On the cusp of my sixtieth birthday, I want to celebrate the fact that I am an intellectually curious person: my inquisitiveness was written in the stars. I don’t want to lose that quality at a time when global events have me feeling like sticking my head in the sand. The world’s most intellectually uncurious person is currently the President of the United States, and anything I can do to avoid thinking about him should be welcomed with open arms.

So, that’s what I’m going to. Maybe I’ll actually start writing about the natal charts of celebrities again. Stranger things have happened . . .
