Star Struck Style

Friday’s new moon coincides with the sun conjoining my natal Mercury. Last year, I published this post about the latter transit. This year, I’m going to try to use this event as a catalyst for positive change as I embark on a quest for more-gainful employment. I’m not sure that looking for a job in the middle of the holiday season is the right thing to do, but I suppose retailers discover which employees are nothing more than dead weight this time of year. That might provide me with the opening I need to cram my foot into the door of a new employer.

Anyway, I’m feeling good with all this planetary activity in my third house. There’s also a grand trine about to form between Venus, Jupiter and Saturn that aligns quite closely with my midheaven. This really should be a good time for me to stumble into an opportunity. Or I could just win the lottery. That would solve so many of my problems.

But if that doesn’t happen, I’m feeling optimistic about my future prospects and my capacity to be adaptable in general: a quality that I was recommended to cultivate in the “Café Astrology” passage I posted above. A third-house new moon conjunct my natal Mercury will likely see the universe calling on me to put that adaptability into practice.
