Star Struck Style

I’ve been pretty disciplined since I quit my full-time job in March. I haven’t been working as much, so I haven’t felt the need for a vacation just to get away from the daily grind. However, my birthday is only a few weeks away. I would have planned to spend this milestone event in Las Vegas if it weren’t for the fact that I’m boycotting America. Instead, I’ve decided to take a few days off. My friends that I normally meet in Las Vegas are going to visit me. It makes me happy that they want to celebrate with me.

I took a look at my horoscope for the first week of the year, and it couldn’t be better. Both Mars and Venus meet up with my natal sun the first week of the year. In fact, the conjunction between Venus and the sun happens to be on my birthday. I’m going for a massage tomorrow, so I’ll be sure to book another one on my birthday itself. There is almost nothing I’d rather do on my birthday than that. “Café Astrology” offers an interpretation of the event that makes me believe that I’m making the right plans:

With this extra work that I’ve picked up, I’m confident that I won’t go broke by simply taking a few days off from work. I might even have a little extra money put aside to shop. Simons, the wonderful Canadian department store, often makes their biggest markdowns of the year on the first Thursday in January — two days after my birthday. I don’t need anything, but when you come across 70% sales on fancy designer clothes, are you just supposed to let someone else buy them? I don’t think so!

Anyway, all signs point toward me having a terrific birthday week. Even as the sun, Venus and Mars move out of orb from conjoining my natal sun, they immediately move into a harmonious trine/sextile aspect with the axis of my chart that contains my natal Pluto/Uranus conjunction and my natal Chiron. I’ve got good things galore happening as the year begins.

Now if only Karma would catch up to Donald Trump so that I could start going to Las Vegas again . . .
