Pendulum (source: pexels.com)

For an astrologer who spends a lot of time looking ahead, I sometimes get caught off-guard when the planets line up in a manner that I didn’t see coming. It’s not that I didn’t know that they were going to line up that way, but that I wasn’t really paying attention. You could say that I choose to live in the moment, or at least in the not-too distant future.

Anyway, I put a pause on my search for more-gainful employment because all the retrograde planets in the sky are telling me that my timing isn’t quite right. However, I did look ahead to early January because in the retail business, January is a time of realignment. After the holidays, businesses make major changes as they prepare for the year ahead. That’s how I discovered that my horoscope is sort of charmed right around my birthday. It should be a good time for me to make a change of direction.

I also noticed that I have a four transiting planets opposing my natal Jupiter throughout December. If any opportunities do come up during the month, it would be wise for me to think twice before I act upon them. I suspect that any promises made to me will be full of hot air over the next six or seven weeks. But the pendulum swings back in my favor not long after the year begins. January 8 is an especially propitious day. More about that another day . . .

In the meantime, I do feel as if these retrogrades are going to work in my favor. I predicted that the first half of November would be a volatile time, especially in the USA. Here’s what I wrote:

“For a couple of weeks, people won’t be taking any crap. Hopefully, this will mark a turning point in America because the country is headed in a direction that is not sustainable. The government cannot stay shut down forever to protect Donald Trump from the Epstein files and legislation that will curb his authoritarian impulses.

I’ve been wrong about this situation before, and I’ll probably be wrong again. But all the astrological signs point to conflict in the coming weeks. Still, the best approach anyone can take in the face of this existential threat is to say ‘no’ to Trump and his cronies. Take to the streets. Shut everything down if that’s what it takes. Don’t let this bullshit go on any longer than it has to. Maybe things will actually improve by November 17 if you fight for what’s right.”

I’m glad that I put that forecast out into the universe. I can see things happening this week that have been a long time coming. The pendulum of righteousness seems to be ready to start swinging the other way. I sense it in my own life and I sense it in the world around me. Sure, the sun is conjunct my natal Neptune as I write this post, but I don’t believe that I’m being delusional. I believe that the momentum is shifting.

Change is coming. Yesterday’s news events implicating Trump and a cabal of world leaders in the Epstein scandal is just the beginning. At the same time, my own little world seems almost stress-free aside from some minor annoyances. That’s a shift that I thought I would never see after a such rough start to the year.

This is fine . . .
