I was just reading the daily forecast “What’s in Store by the Stars” on “Café Astrology” when I came across an interesting line describing the sun’s ingress into Scorpio:
“In the weeks ahead, we’re more likely to prosper through strategy and knowing the value of keeping some things to ourselves at the correct times.”
With the moon, Mercury and Mars already transiting Scorpio, the sun entering the same sign this evening, Jupiter currently transiting Cancer and Neptune joining Saturn in Pisces for it’s last stand in the sign during our lifetimes, this is probably good advice. We might feel the urge to let our feelings flow, but a little discretion is in order so that we don’t confuse our feelings with fact.
“Feelings aren’t facts,” as the saying goes. And while feelings can be perfectly valid, they often change in the presence of time, or when reevaluated in context. With all this water-sign energy in the universe, many of us are going to be putting too much trust in our initial “feelings” about matters without allowing ourselves the time to consider the context. We may confront others prematurely without understanding the whole story, revealing our own vulnerabilities and coming off as irrational or overly emotional.
Don’t make that mistake. If we can learn one thing from the scorpion that symbolizes the sign of Scorpio, it’s that retaliation needs to be swift and carefully directed. Scorpions may not lose their stingers when they strike, but their venom is depleted each time they do. Scorpios do a similar thing with their threats; if they don’t deliver them carefully, they become meaningless.
We can all take a lesson from that analogy while the stars are lined up in this manner. I’m not advising everyone to shut up altogether, but I am recommending that it might be wise to wait for the right moment to let your feelings be known because it is very likely that your feelings will change in the presence of time and context. Water-sign energy should be protective, not reactive. Don’t make the mistake of diminishing your own power by reacting to everything you hear for the next few weeks.
