Direction (pexels.com)

I was looking at my chart this morning while Mercury was forming its superior conjunction with the sun, and I came to the realization that mid-October is going to be the most action-packed time of the year for me, astrologically speaking. I’ve already published a few posts on the topic of Jupiter’s conjunction with my midheaven, but I didn’t realize that so many things are going to change all at once. In about a one-week period, the sun will conjoin my ascendant and move into my first house, Mercury will move into my second house, Venus will move into my twelfth house, Mars will move into my second house, Jupiter will move into my tenth house, and retrograde Saturn will move back into my fifth house.

I need to go back through my blog posts to reread what I’ve written about this auspicious time in my life; I probably have forgotten half of what I’ve already learned. Still, I’m sure that there is much more to figure out as I prepare for this major shift in the stars.

What I can see happening is a change of direction. I’ve already declared that I need to find a more rewarding job, but maybe there is something else on the horizon. With the sun forming a trine to Jupiter from my first house while the planet of abundance sits mere minutes from the apex of my chart, I can see something that feeds my soul happening to me. What’s more, the shift of Saturn back into my fifth house is likely to support and strengthen this configuration.

Until these changes happen, I’m quite content taking a step back to observe what’s going on in the world around me. I’ll probably be even more eager to work behind the scenes once Mercury and the sun enter my twelfth house in the week ahead. That seems like a reasonable path for me to follow as I evaluate the changes in my horoscope this morning, and I feel as if I’m on the right track coming to that conclusion during today’s conjunction between Mercury and the sun.

October can’t come soon enough . . .
