Star Struck Style

While I was catching up on some chores on Wednesday afternoon, the transit that inspired “Part One” of this post became exact. At that same moment, the TV show I was watching was interrupted by the breaking news that Charlie Kirk had been assassinated.

Not long after that, I learned that Jair Bolsonaro has been sentenced to twenty-seven years in prison, and that Donald Trump is literally exhibiting physical signs of the stroke that he was rumored to experience last week.

I don’t want to be a ghoul who delights in the misfortune of others, but I honestly felt a shift in the balance of the universe over the past couple of days.

Was the change favorable? I guess that depends upon whom you’re asking . . .
