The new moon in Virgo that I discussed in a post titled “Fruitful Contact” doesn’t arrive for another week, but I’m already laser-focused on what an eleventh-house new moon will mean for me. I feel as if I’m ready to take the steps necessary to find a job that makes me happy to go to work again. I don’t mind doing what I’m doing right now, but I just feel as if there is something out there that is a better fit for me.
What I need to consider when this event actually arrives is the opposition that transiting Mercury will be forming to my natal Mars/Venus conjunction (it’s almost exactly opposing the midpoint between those planets), and the opposition that transiting Jupiter will be forming to my natal sun. I might want to jump headfirst into something, but I need to exhibit some Virgo-like discretion and contemplate all the details before I dive right in. The new moon is inconjunct retrograde Saturn by mere minutes, so I need to consider my timing. Saturn moves back into Aries on September 1, and my transiting Mars enters my first house just two days later — still during this same waxing moon phase. Not only that, a second Virgo new moon occurs later in the month.
I am going to attempt to initiate contact between myself and some potential employers once the new moon arrives, but I’m going to try to save the more-formal steps of seeking employment until September arrives. All the people I would probably try to approach are busy enough at the moment, anyway (it’s back-to-school season in this part of the world). No one needs me bugging them incessantly when they can barely keep up as it is.
So, I think my timing might be perfect if I just wait until after the Labor Day weekend when business slows down. That doesn’t mean that I can’t pop into the places where I would like to work with a smile on my face in order to initiate some “fruitful contact.” That could be the secret to my success: transiting Mars in my twelfth house and transiting Saturn in my sixth house favor this behind-the-scenes work.
I’ve got just under three weeks to prepare for this, but I already think I’m on my way. Wish me luck . . .
