Looking Good (source: pexels.com)

Transiting Venus formed a trine with my ascendant this morning. I’m happy that this alignment is occurring on the same weekend that transiting Mars is opposing my natal Chiron. I could be feeling vulnerable about myself, but instead I’m quite pleased with how I feel and what I see when I look in the mirror. “Café Astrology” describes the Venus transit as follows:

“This is a good time to go on first dates, schedule appointments, ask for a favor, make presentations, or apply for jobs, simply because you are coming across well. You portray the more reasonable, refined, and likable side of your personality now, and others tend to respond warmly. You are more willing than usual to bend and compromise. Remember that you get what you want by the forces of attraction during this period, rather than coming on strong. This is a good time to purchase property, art objects, or to use new methods to increase your personal finances. Doors open that may have previously been closed or undiscovered. You look, sound, and feel good, so take advantage!”

I am a little concerned about Mars’ conjunction with my natal Uranus tomorrow evening throwing a wrench into my plans to enjoy myself this weekend, and Mercury’s recent station contributing to the sort of problems that can arise out of the blue at my place of work. Still, I’m no longer the boss and I’m not the person who has to take responsibility when the shit hits the fan. For the moment, I’ve taken the easy way out — just as someone with Venus transiting the ninth house should do.

So, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to get off this computer so that I can “take advantage” of this cosmically-blessed day. Being this attractive isn’t easy, but someone has to do it!
