Check out my post from last year on this day. Mars’ ingress through my sixth house had me focused upon the same topics that I’ve been discussing for the last few weeks as several planets have been dancing around my fifth/sixth house cusp. This concept of fifth-house freedom vs. sixth-house routine is nothing new to me. Nevertheless, it’s a topic that I keep exploring because it is in my nature to aspire to be more disciplined and regimented, and then to become a slave to routine.
I suppose my Libra rising has me always trying to find a reasonable balance between these divergent urges. To be honest, it’s probably healthy for me to admit to myself that I often struggle to find a balance between work and play.
Anyway, I’m feeling good about the choices I’ve made, and the notion that I would encounter financial ruin by leaving my full-time job has not materialized whatsoever. In a week from now, just after the new moon arrives in my seventh house, I have resolved to make some decisions about how I will be spending my time in the future. Will I be spending the summertime in an intensive yoga-instructor workshop, or will I put off my training until the new year?
I guess I’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime I’m going enjoy feeling as if I have some options. Breaking free from the same old, same old was as liberating as I expected. I just need to be sure that I don’t adopt a new routine that is just as boring and unsatisfying as my old routine.
C’mon north node in the fifth house. Help me out here . . .
